Catalina Church of Midtown

Our goal for each Sunday Morning is to create a place that will be both educational and entertaining. We want to capture your child’s imagination, intrigue them and set them on a course of discovery.

The Children’s Area in the lower level of our new Family Center has been transformed into a 3-D Rain Forest! We want to help your child see the stories of the Bible come alive! Although we realize our church building won’t change lives, we strongly believe what goes on inside and outside the building will!

As the adults begin their own lesson upstairs, we enter the rainforest and kick off the morning with Kids’ Worship. After Life Lessons from Theo the puppet, we begin an interactive Bible Story that includes activities, videos, illustrations, and even some playacting!

Then we split into smaller groups for the Watering Hole & the Tropical Room for snacks and crafts that reinforce the lesson. For example, if we learned about the tower of Babel, we might build towers with cake and whipped cream, then we could make a keychain with a lesson reminder to take home!
